The Northside Distilling Co. started in the way that any good distillery starts, with friends. Chris and close friend, Josh, began home brewing in the basement, which lead to an interest in distilling. After purchasing a 13 gallon still and two years of paperwork later, Northside Distilling Co. was born!


NDC focuses on creating high quality spirits. We pride ourselves on perfecting our products and tweaking the recipes until they are just right. "From Grain to Glass" every piece of the process is done right here. Mashing, fermenting, distilling, labeling, bottling, and aging bourbon can be seen right on location. No push button operations, good ole' fashioned hand crafted. 


We outgrew the old barn in Northside, and in April 2017, expanded to our current production facility and bar front at 922 Race Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 right in the heart of downtown Cincinnati.  Patrons can take a tour of the distillery while enjoying one of our specialty craft cocktails or local beer.  


As we say, we’re honest and no frills, but honestly, our products are some of the best in the city.


Ben was hired in 2016 to transform Northside from a small barn in the Northside neighborhood into Cincinnati's most recognized craft distillery.  Ben has a well-established history of restaurant operations and has been the driving force behind NDC's growth throughout Cincinnati and Northern KY.


Mark joined the NDC team in 2018. As a classic cocktail and spirits aficionado, he has a strong technical and scientific approach to distilling which has improved product consistency and taste across the board. Mark is passionate about his craft and is regularly "experimenting" with new recipes and products. Look forward to new one-off and limited release products in 2019.
